First time visit and ordered the pastrami melt and Italian grinder. The pastrami sandwich was heavy and delicious while the Italian grinder was refreshing and filling. The pasta salad was a nice tangy side and the potato salad wasn't overwhelming in mustard like some potato salads are. The side of vinegarette was a nice touch to pour onto my Italian grinder. If you're looking for a nice lunch I recommend this little spot. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back and try other sandwiches.
My family is just about the pickiest there is. No matter where we go, someone always complains. So it really says a lot when not one single family member complained about any aspect of Simple Simon's. I have never experienced faster service. I was still getting my drink when one of my guests informed me that the food had already arrived. This may sound like the food was rushed, but it was perfectly prepared despite the speed with which it was delivered to the table. The French toast was exquisitely textured with a thick depth and balance of crispness and chewiness. The bacon was crunchy and full-flavored. The omelets were just right in size and consistency and the croissant breakfast sandwich was big, flavorful, and satisfying. The prices were about 10-20 per person and reasonable for the quality. The busy-ness changed dramatically while we were there, so it can go from dead to busy in seconds, bit it's worth it no matter what!

The most delicious bakery and breakfast spot! We got there right when they opened so the line was pretty short, but by the time we left, it was getting busy. The prices are very reasonable and the service is fast and friendly. We will definitely be returning.
Simple Simon’s gets a solid 5 out of 5 in my book! From the vanilla latte to the bakery and breakfast omelets and croissants, everything is absolutely delicious. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu—everything I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Parking is on the street and does require payment, but it’s worth it. The area also has a lot of charm, with nearby shops including a lovely antique store that’s fun to explore after your meal. I also had the princess cake and a fruit tart from the bakery—both were outstanding! No complaints at all. This is definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to
Great bakery in downtown Riverside . Came by and enjoyed a delicious breakfast croissant with their famous apple chicken sausage which tasted delicious. Potatoes on the side which were delicious. Also took home a very tasty sourdough loaf. I recommend this place if you want a good meal or just want to take home some bread and pastries. Their black coffee was brewer to perfection as well. Enjoy
Delish! Great breakfast spot that’s a 3 minute walk from the Mission Inn - tasty breakfast options including mouthwatering pastries and really good brewed coffee made with freshly ground beans. Make sure you get there early bc by the time we left, there was a long line out the door!
What a great stop! It was packed and I can see why. I got the tuna melt with the potato salad and it was delicious! The staff was also fast and friendly. I highly recommend. We went back the next day for breakfast and it was also delicious!
